Unless
you've been on the roof of Medway High School, you may not realize it's
lined with 660 solar panels placed on top of the auditorium and
gymnasium, saving the town thousands of dollars each year in energy
costs.
The
Middle School's 1,404-panel solar array is nearly three times as big
and provides about 70 percent of the school's electricity.
Now
it's the town's turn. Medway will soon show off its own solar system
with a 44-panel,I'm looking at getting the light bar from ford racing
and was wondering who sells the Best All In One HID Kit.
10-kilowatt array on the Milford Street fire station, installed
free-of-charge by Second Generation Energy as part of the town's
Solarize Mass agreement with the company.
In
its proposal to serve as the town's installer for Solarize Mass, a
clean energy education and group-buying initiative, Second Generation
offered to build the system at a location of the town's choosing to
serve as a demonstration for the program.
Since
the station has a pitched roof, residents passing by will actually get
to take a look at the system, which should be fully installed by the end
of this week.It is also known as LED Dome / Reading Lamp Wholesalers, LED daytime running lamps.
"This is a great site," Edward Whitaker, president of Second Generation Energy,As you can see below the LED Ghost Shadow Light Manufacturer Installation
Guide is pretty straight foward. said at the fire station on Tuesday.
"This system should offset about 50 percent of the building's energy
consumption."
Under the agreement, Second Generation will own the system and receive the tax credits for 10 years,Need a compatible LED Daytime Running Lights for your car? and the town will receive the energy produced by it at no charge.
After
10 years, the company will donate to the town the $40,000 system, which
Whitaker said has a life expectancy of 30 to 40 years.
Once the system is operational,Manufactured to satisfy even the most discerning aficionados, the LED Tyre Lamp Wholesalers that
we stock are ready to reveal the true nature of your vehicle. Second
Generation will offer weekly tours for residents to see the panels up
close and learn more about the Solarize Mass program.
Medway
Town Administrator Suzanne Kennedy said she's excited about the new
solar array, as solar has been at the top of the town's agenda for a
while.
"There
will be a savings for the town, and I think it will be an interesting
way to illustrate to the town that we're trying to entice residents to
convert to solar," she said. "We're beginning to be recognized as a
community taking a leadership role in clean energy."
The
town is one of 10 communities chosen to participate in the first round
of the 2013 Solarize Mass program – which is offered by the Mass. Clean
Energy Center and the Mass. Department of Energy Resources to increase
the use of solar energy while reducing the price for residents and
businesses.
The
more people in a community who sign up, the more the cost goes down for
all participants who install a solar photovoltaic system, whether they
signed up first or last.
Pending
approval from the Conservation Commission, Whitaker said the Medway
Mill has signed a contract for a 170-kilowatt system, which would put
the town just 20 kilowatts away from reaching tier 5 – the highest level
of savings.
"As
it relates to the other nine Solarize Mass communities, Medway is
likely a leader at this point," said Whitaker, adding that 80 residents
have already signed up to have their homes assessed.
Second
Generation has also opened an office space above Coffee Sensations on
Main Street, and Whitaker said there is someone there every afternoon to
answer questions and discuss the program. More information about the
program is available on the web site at www.hmhid.com.
