One
has to look no further than the iconic E-type, a vehicle Kevin Flynn,
managing director for Jaguar Land Rover South Africa, often referred to
at the launch. He talked of the emotional link between the iconic E-type
and this new F-type and of the baton being passed on. "This is a
vehicle that is worthy of that mantle," said Flynn. Stirring words
indeed.
Three
models will be available - the F-type, F-type S and F-type V8 S. The
first two are powered by a new 3.0 litre V6 supercharged petrol engine
while the godfather of the pack - the V8 S - has a whopping 5.0 litre V8
supercharged powerplant. If you do your homework and insist on only the High Quality Solar garden lighting, you'll experience enjoyable modern solar LED garden lights can actually be.
If
that doesn't have you salivating, soak up these numbers. The F-type
engine is good for 250kW; 0-100 km/h in 5.3 seconds; a top speed of
260km/h. The F-type S pushes out 280 kW; sprints to 100km/h in 4.9
seconds and will run out of breath at 275km/h. The V8 S packs a whopping
364 kW; does the 0-100km/h dash in a blistering 4.3 seconds and
top-ends at 300km/h. There are no nanny-state restrictions of 250 km/h
with these babies. There are all kinds of car daytime running lights with good quality.Need a compatible LED Daytime Running Lights for your car?
Viewed
from behind -- and this is how most motorists will see the vehicle - it
displays more testosterone than a gym-bunny on steroids.
One
quick way to tell the V6 and V8 variants apart, is the number of
tailpipes. The V6 models feature twin centre tailpipes while the V8
model has four stainless-steel smoking guns primed and ready to fire.
Up
front, the distinctive grille follows the style introduced by the XF
and XJ in its design, while twin shark-gill openings to the sides
enhance the appearance.
There
are also bi-xenon headlamps and LED daytime running lights. At the
back, a rear spoiler pops up at 100 km/h to assist with stability at
higher speeds while full LED rear lamps contribute to the sporty look.
At
the launch, two models were available for the assembled motoring hacks -
the 3.0 litre V6 S and the 5.0 litre V8 S. Naturally I got my hands on
the V8 first!
First
thing you notice before even powering up the beast is your low driving
position - a good 20mm lower than the low-slung XKR-S. Your butt is
millimetres from scraping terra firma. Our High Quality Solar charger and solar phone chargers are uniquely designed, high-quality and low-cost.
Jaguar refers to the interior not as a cabin but as a cockpit, because itWe can produce all kinds of China emergency light products even according to your own designs.s design and layout is based on that of a fighter jet.
Strapped
in and having spent a couple of minutes familiarising myself with
positioning of essential dials and buttons, I powered up the V8 with the
push of a button.
That
something so simple can have such a violent result warmed my heart on
an overcast day. The sound emanating from those four exhausts is nothing
short of brutal.
Now
when you have 364 kW of raw power bubbling away under the front bonnet,
like a thermal pool, it quickly became apparent that the hopeful
instructions from the driving instructor: "keep to the speed limit",
were going to be as practical as having a Weight Watchers meeting at
McDonalds.
The
roads around the White River/Graskop area are a mixture of sublimely
good, to ridiculously bad, so the drive was, at times, frustratingly
slow with extremely poor visibility, the cats eyes on the road providing
the only visible sign of the direction. More information about the
program is available on the web site at www.indoorilite.com.
