Back
in caveman times, there was no such thing as laundry. There were only
clothes, which the cavemen wore, unwashed, until they rotted away. I
mean the clothes, not the cavemen.
The
only way a caveman's clothes might get washed would be if he were
caught out in a rainstorm. This the cavemen saw as an inconvenience,
certainly not as any form of progress.
Cavewomen regarded this lack of cleanliness as disgusting. But there was really nothing they could do about it.
Then
someone discovered soap. The cave guys regarded the stuff as little
more than a mild curiosity. Soap was good for making bubbles, which was
good for entertaining the kids. A cave guy might also use a piece of
soap to create a lather on his lips, saying, "Ha, ha! Look! I've got
rabies!" This never failed to elicit peals of laughter from the other
cave guys.
It
was also noted that soap helped remove dirt. The cave guys regarded
this to be this of small consequence; the cavewomen, however, latched
onto that particular attribute with a fanatical fury.
Before
the cave guys knew it, the cavewomen had instituted Laundry Day. It was
initially billed as an annual event, but mission creep quickly set in
and Laundry Day began to be held every week.
Washing
laundry on a regular basis meant that water needed to be piped in, and
the dirty water drained away. In time, this gave rise to water and sewer
districts. Bureaucrats then had to be hired to supervise things, and
politicians had to be elected to supervise the bureaucrats. A direct
line can thus be drawn from the discovery of soap to the Watergate
scandal.
Laundry
Day was a huge event back when I was a kid. With eight children in the
house, Laundry Day involved a level of logistics that are normally
associated with fielding a small army.Modern solar led light online for sale.
Clothes
were sorted and placed in piles all around the living room. A kid might
be tempted to jump onto these clothes heaps as if they were denim leaf
piles, but we somehow knew better.
Hot
water was poured into the tub of our venerable Speed Queen
wringer-washer. Clothes and soap were added, and the Speed Queen began
to churn with its implacable wigwag motion.
Once
the clothes were deemed clean, they were sent through the wringer and
into a rinse tub. It always fascinated me to watch the wringer,This

mere shadow of themselves. I often wondered what would happen if a
person got caught in those rollers,Do you want honest laundry dryer Ratings?
if one would be reduced to a two-dimensional version of oneself. This
wasn't because of a morbid imagination as much as an overdose of
Saturday morning cartoons.
By
the time my wife and I were wed, Laundry Day had been demoted to an
everyday event. It was sad to see this noble institution lose its
cachet.
Being
a dairy farmer means being OK with a certain amount of dirt, muck and
assorted gunk. My wife, on the other hand, saw it as her sworn duty to
conduct a full-time, all-out war on every form of grime.
For
instance, I was OK with it if my coveralls were spattered with large
quantities of, um, stuff. In my opinion, they didn't needed washing
until they could stand by themselves.
My
wife thinks that even the tiniest fleck of dirt on a piece of clothing
qualifies it for a stint in the washing machine. I couldn't see the
point,Solar energy employs solar charger to

freshly cleaned clothing would likely become bespattered shortly after I
began chores.Design and manufacture of dry cleaning machine for garments and textile fabrics.
"You're
right!" she exclaimed during one of our frank exchanges on this topic.
"Why even bother taking a shower or a bath? Why don't you just douse
yourself with cologne at the end of the day and call it good?"

What you need to know before getting laser hair reduction
As
the founder and operator of Esthetic Advisor Laser Academy, I stress
safety and science. I've been in the laser industry for 10 years and I
believe that if you can't do it safely and don't understand the science,
you shouldn't be doing it.Do you want honest laundry dryer Ratings?
Laser hair reduction treatments have become so commonplace, the misconception is that anyone can do it.Design and manufacture of dry cleaning machine for garments and textile fabrics. As a longtime expert witness in laser lawsuits around the country, I can't stress enough the importance of understanding how and why each laser works.
There are a ton of deals out there, but that does not mean the offered treatments are good. As with any other purchase, buyer beware.
Before undergoing any treatment, be sure to ask questions about the laser technician's training. Also, look for proper certifications and ask about the machine being used. Not every machine is safe for every skin type, and not every hair color can be treated effectively.
Many of the problems I've seen -- burns, blisters and even permanent skin color changes -- have come from the wrong machine being used on the wrong skin type. Another question you need to ask is about pain. On a scale of one to 10, it shouldn't be more than a five.
You'll also want to ask about the machine's cooling system because every machine should have one. Bottom line: If you can't get your questions answered to your satisfaction, reconsider having the treatment done.
It's not all on the technician's shoulders, however.Solar energy employs solar charger to supply electricity to devices or charge batteries. You need to stay out of the sun and be honest about your sun exposure. It can make a major difference in your treatment.
Finally,Modern solar led light online for sale. if your technician is promising complete hair removal, that should be a red flag. The procedure is called hair reduction. It will take care of about 80 percent of your unwanted hair in the treated area.
At first it was 3D chocolate replicas of the women to give their men on Valentine's Day. Now Fab Cafe in Shibuya, Tokyo is offering up gummy love. Yep, you guessed it; men can now give their special ladies a gummy replica of themselves for White Day.
White Day is a uniquely Japanese "holiday" celebrated on March 14 where men who received a honmei-choco ('chocolate of love') or giri-choco ('courtesy chocolate') during Valentine's Day have to return the favor and give gifts to the women. And Fab Cafe is giving men the chance to express their love in a very gummy way. Just like with the 3D chocolate replicas, the cafe offers a two-day workshop to be able to create the 3D gummy replicas for around $65. The first session, customers will have their bodies mapped with a 3D scanner in whatever pose they want.A wind turbine is a device that converts kinetic energy from the wind. At the next session, the 3D moulds are printed out by their high-powered 3D printers and they can now make their gummy replicas to take home for their White Day celebrations.
Fab Cafe, which opened in Tokyo just last year, can mean two things: one, it is obviously a contraction of the word 'fabulous'. But on the other hand, it can also be a shortened version for the word 'fabrication', given that they are equipped with a powerful laser cutter which they let the customers use for a fee to cut out designs in Adobe Illustrator files. Their 3D printers are also used to prototype designs and products.

War of words, video escalates
Dramatic
footage of Sea Shepherd vessel Bob Barker being squeezed between
Japanese ship Nisshin Maru and Korean oil tanker Sun Laurel was released
by anti-whalers yesterday.
The footage shows the Bob Barker being hosed by water cannons and covered with a large cloud of smoke from what Sea Shepherd members say is a Japanese coast guard concussion grenade. This factsheet discusses electricity generation using wind power generators at your farm or your home.
But Japan's Institute of Cetacean Research says three inflatable craft from the Steve Irwin and Bob Barker came within close range of the Nisshin Maru and another vessel, the Yushin Maru,Modern solar led light online for sale. in an attempt to use wire-entwined ropes to entangle the rudder and propeller and to plug drains in the hull.
The ICR said the ships were hit five times by the Bob Barker and another Sea Shepherd vessel, the Sam Simon, on Monday.
"This time, [Sea Shepherd] is sabotaging a refuelling operation, which is essential for the safe navigation of ships, and the sabotage is not only malicious but inconceivably obstructive actions," the ICR stated.
Footage of Monday's incident prompted calls for calm by federal Environment Minister Tony Burke. "I continue to urge everybody in the Southern Ocean to recognise safety at sea," Mr Burke said.
Sea Shepherd released footage it said showed the Bob Barker being "sandwiched" by the Nisshin Maru and Sun Laurel as it blocked a third attempt at refuelling.
The clip appears to be a longer version of the same collision captured by the whalers, but Sea Shepherd officials were unable to confirm this.
The conservation group says its footage shows the Bob Barker had right of way. Sea Shepherd director Bob Brown said the Japanese had released a "selective snippet".
"You can see in that footage the very small Sea Shepherd ship being tossed around (as if) in the washing machine," Dr Brown said.
Another video posted by Sea Shepherd shows a fiery flash, allegedly caused by a concussion grenade thrown by whalers, while Steve Irwin captain Paul Watson claimed "commandos" had been dropped on the Korean tanker by another Japanese ship -- the Shirase.Design and manufacture of dry cleaning machine for garments and textile fabrics.

"I have sought urgent confirmation from the Japanese Government that there have been no interactions between the Shirase and any of the vessels involved in the whaling fleet, including the refuelling vessel."

Novel Photon-Counting Technique Helps Measure EGFR Proteins
For
scientists to improve cancer treatments with targeted therapeutic
drugs, they need to be able to see proteins prevalent in the cancer
cells. This has been impossible, until now.
Thanks to a new microscopy technique,Do you want honest laundry dryer Ratings? University of Akron researcher Dr. Adam Smith, assistant professor of chemistry, has observed how clusters of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) — a protein abundant in lung and colon cancers, glioblastoma and others — malfunctions in cancer cells.
"We can directly observe protein clusters, in a living cell membrane, that are invisible to traditional methods. This opens up the possibility to directly measure the effect of drugs on the target proteins," Smith says.
Smith's work lies at the heart of current-day cancer research, which focuses on developing targeted drugs that kill cancer cells without the collateral damage associated with traditional treatments like chemotherapy.Design and manufacture of dry cleaning machine for garments and textile fabrics.
Specifically, Smith used a cutting-edge photon-counting technique, which enables scientists to measure the cluster size of EGFR proteins. The technique represents a significant advancement from studying the cultures with a traditional microscope, which cannot visually capture objects as small as the EGFR clusters, according to Smith,Modern solar led light online for sale. a lead author of "Conformational Coupling across the Plasma Membrane in Activation of the EGF Receptor," published in the Jan. 31 journal Cell, which highlights the technique.
"Another difficulty with studying EGFR is that it's located in the cell membrane, which can be thought of as a fence line that defines the cell boundary, but in reality it is more like an untamed hedge row," says Smith, explaining how the new laser-based microscope technique overcomes that obstacle and allows scientists to study, in real time, how EGFR works in healthy cells and also how it malfunctions in cancer cells.
Smith's subsequent work studying the interaction of drugs with the targeted EGFR "will significantly improve drug discovery, which too often relies on indirect measure of efficacy," he says.

Excel Machinery announces the sale
Vadodara-based
Excel Machinery announced the sale of its flagship automatic
die-cutting machine Maxima Exb-35 to Rajkot-based Karachi Offset at
PrintPack India 2013.
“We are proud to announce that the company has installed 54 Maxima Exb-35 since its humble start in 1987. Out of this 12 machines were sold last year,” said Jitendra Patel of Excel Machinery.
The 25x35.5inch automatic die-cutting machine is targeted at the mid- and large-sized packaging firms. Patel further added, “We have added features which assist smooth operation and self-diagnosis for faulty set-ups plus various safety measures to the machine.”
The machine can be equipped with an optional feature of zero-gripper system which is useful for producing large size cartons especially for textile packaging. “It helps in reducing wastage caused due to gripper allowances and makes the printer more productive,Do you want honest laundry dryer Ratings?” said Patel.
According to Patel, there is an awareness among Indian printers regarding the significance of automation. Patel said, “With high speed presses in the market, the Maxima can replace four manual die-cutting machines and thereby increase production speeds as well as save labour costs.”
“In terms of precision and performance, we are not far behind the European machine, but in terms of value and return on investment,We're responsible for the installation and maintenance of street lamp. we are certainly a better option than most Chinese machines." The last three years has seen Excel investing Rs 2-crore in expanding its plant both in machinery and space.
“We are now producing 18 machine per annum, and are targeting production and sale of 25 machines next year,” said Patel.
Manugraph the Indian manufacturer of web offset presses has unveiled two new products from Masterwork Machinery. This includes MK 420 which is a automatic sheet inspection machine and MK 1060 M/MF which is a automatic die-cutting machine. Manugraph is the Indian representative for Masterwork Machinery.
Pradeep Shah, managing director at Manugraph India, said, “The packaging business is witnessing double digit growth in India. Today, consumer will not accept product which is not packed. In order to attract the consumer, the packaging of the product has to be really world-class.”
Shah added, “There are many players in the post-finishing segment and addition of one player will only add to the advantage as the requirement is growing.Integrated manufacturing operations have produced exceptional solar module and related products. Our laser marking machine can mark on metal and non metals. Our concept is very clear. This factsheet discusses electricity generation using wind power generators at your farm or your home. Besides our core business, we would like to concentrate on the trading part.”
Besides Masterwork Machinery products, Manugraph has also launched Manugraph F 122-BK and M360-BK bookline press.
Shah said, “The growth in the newspaper is stagnant. The main reason may be due to low advertisement ratio. The new press is directed towards book printing segment which looks promising.”
