Shahbaz pinning his hopes on new generation

Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that Pakistani youth are very talented and proper utilisation of resources is essential to enable them to play their due role in the progress and development of the country.

He said that though not much has been done in the practical field during the last 65 years but we should remain hopeful that the young generation will ensure a bright future for the country by utilising its abilities and energies.

He was talking to a delegation of International Journalism Conference Organising Committee comprising male and female students of various universities, led by Secretary General of the Foundation for Promotion of Academic Collaboration, Amir Rafiq and Chairman International Journalism Conference Organising Committee Rizwan Anwar, at Model Town Sunday.

Talking to the delegation, the Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that the Punjab government has taken revolutionary steps for the welfare of the youth.

He said that incentives have been offered to the youth through various schemes for making them useful citizens of the society. He said that the facilities given by the Punjab government to the students in educational institutions during the last five years are unprecedented.

Chairman of the delegation Rizwan Anwar while appreciating the constructive activities initiated by the Punjab government for the youth assured all possible co-operation.

Amir Rafiq paid rich tributes to Chief Minister Punjab on introducing laptops and Ujala programme for the students and said that provision of solar system to the students on merit will bring revolution in educational field.
